Washing Advice
Although washing is an important part of keeping your pieces nice and clean, we advice to minimize the number of times you wash your apparel. Not only is the saving of water and electricity a good thing to preserve our environment, but you will extend the life of your apparel as well. After short of easz rides, airing your apparel and wiping dirt with some mild soap and a sponge is a great way to keep your apparel fresh and unharmed.
Our best tips when it is washing day? First, wiping anz excess dirt from your piece of apparel with a sponge and some water. Seperate wool made products from your regular cycling wear, and seperate dark colored from lighter colored items. This helps to minimiye the risk of colors running.
Select the right washing temperature according to the temperate instructions presented on the label in your piece of apparel. Reduce the amount of washing detergent and avoid using fabric softeners as it leaves a waxy film on the garments which impacts the sweat-wicking, stretching and water-repellent qualities of your item.
Our last advice is to avoid using a tumble dryer to dry your apparel. They cause shrinkage and impact the quality of your piece of apparel.
Storage Advice
The golden rule for storing your apparel is to keep them in a dry, well-ventilated wardrobe, away from sunlight. This will extend the life of your gear. With the change of seasons some of your items will be used less often - storing them in dust- and moth proof bags is a great way to minimize fatigue.
